Universal Basament was made by Gape Due S.p.a. to facilitate Mould change operation. It consist of base plate with relative cylinders and magnetic block, where it is fixed a magnetic-block holders’ plate.
Use of an Universal Basement allows to reduce time for mould change because it allows to assembly all different sizes by means of simply change of intermediate mould

Universal Basement by means of electro-magnetic fastening

Universal Basament was made by Gape Due S.p.a. to facilitate Mould change operation. It consist of base plate with relative cylinders and magnetic block, where it is fixed a magnetic-block holders’ plate.
Electro-magnetic fastening allows to fix the magnetic-block holder’s plate through electro-magnets which, by means of an attractive power, suitable sized , guarantee a safety fixing and of easy to use.

Universal Basement with permanent magnets it is beneficial because guarantee a total fastening safety as the magnetic circuit needs only a short current pulse during magnetization phase & demagnetization phase.
